Oakpoint Asset Management is not your typical asset manager. So when they approached us to design their brand identity, we made sure that the result was not a typical financial brand. So no pillars. No marble or other solid foundation images. And definitely no stock photos of friendly people shaking hands.
The name Oakpoint denotes a location, so working with Dan Tomka, Oakpoint’s founder, we designed a logo that reflects the North arrow on a map. The idea is that Oakpoint helps its clients set a course for success and helps them steer toward the goal, never veering off for short-term or risky investments.
The use of large photos depicting open horizons reinforces setting off on a journey. Rough waters ahead, but Oakpoint will guide you safely to your goal.
